Consisting of a lightweight, aesthetically pleasing design, the product financially rewards users every time they throw a plastic bottle away; encouraging consumers to recycle significantly more. In addition, a supporting app will create a sense of competition for users, by displaying both theirs and other users' statistics from around the world.asures motion and skin temperature — both of which would contribute to understanding the child’s behaviour and general wellbeing.
Mobile Application
Once signed in, the user will be presented with their profile page where they can see their stats for the week. They can also access their calendar and create ‘key dates' for themselves. Here, the user will also be able to make changes to their profile in general through the settings button.
The 'Dashboard' is the epicentre for the user while on the app. Here they can access their performance for the whole month and see how far they are from their targets (which can be set at the beginning of each month). Through an Al algorithm, users will also be able to see the direct impact they are having on the environment from each plastic bottle they dispose of.
The 'Leader board' adds an element of fun and incentive for users. By taking data from around the world the app ranks users on how well they are performing based on how many bottles they are recycling. This should directly motivate users to recycle as many bottles as they can.
